MIB - Mandriva International Backports

a testing build for Mdv 2010.2 of pulseaudio 2.1, along with a rebuild against it of both pavucontrol and pulseaudio-equalizer packages...

This build has enabled the new webrtc echo cancelling feature.

Please test.

For the fisrt one you simply run the program before or while playing some file audio, select the preset you want to test and enable it...

For the latter: me too, perhaps looking around in internet we will find something...

the equalizer is just a library, not an executable.

how to run the program and what program ?

Did you install pulseaudio-equalizer-0.1-0.20100205.69.1 package?
Then you should have an executable file called pulseaudio-equalizer-gtk (and also a menu entry under the Sound&Video menu): this is the one to run...

pulseaudio-module-equalizer-2.1-69.1mib2010.2.i686.rpm

no more pb with pa equalizer

since i use pulseaudio 2.1 compiled to use udev instead of hal

but
in dmesg file i have this message :

nash-hotplug (43): /proc/43/oom_adj is deprecated, please use /proc/43/oom_score_adj instead.

it's a kernel message but not a kernel pb

this is an app using a kernel deprecated feature but what app ?

i enable again hal daemon at startup because i have error message about initialisation of dbus (draksnapshot)


i seems 2010.2 is hal oriented. we can't supress hal
