Re: Openmandriva joins to Steamcommunity
I can hardly understand what you write...
However, I sense your dislike of Steam
I respect your ideas but I think differently:
factor Games, and more precisely their lack, never allowed Linux to have a number of users exceeds the so-called "critical mass", or the minimum percentage of active users then pushes the software houses to reconsider Linux as a good and interesting platform even for programs and commercial games
For me a game or a commercial program is not the devil, it's just one more chance...
The users of an operating system should have the possibility to choose, where the right to choose is a yet to be conquered
I would much rather that Linux users could use their commercial software natively instead of using emulators and virtualizers
Steam on Linux can be a reason and a boost for many young people to try Linux and fall in love with OpenMandriva, ROSA, ...
I hope that in the future, Linux may have a greater weight on the desktop, not always relegated to a small niche
As the number of PC users we are now less than 2% , Steam might help change all that, increasing this value to 5% or even more
bye, NicCo
