Please let us know ASAP if you find a reason to no-go it so we can respin it in time, there's no way the intended release schedule can be kept if we just get a no-go at the meeting.
The issue here is simply that the machine is out of memory and the technologies used by livecd-tools can't handle that properly. The proper fix is way too intrusive to do this late in the cycle, and the workaround is to simply point out that in order to use live mode, you need a certain amount of RAM (exact amount still needs to be determined).
Please note:
Just updating about what's going on. No need to test unofficial releases by common users.
If expert users wish to test these ISOs they should join the QA team as a tester and can report their experiences via the QA mailing list.

Passi che non ci sia qjackctl nei repo ma proprio non capisco perché si ostinino a disattivare il montaggio automatico del
sequencer mid (snd-seq): almeno in opensuse c'è un modo (grafico) che permette di scegliere se attivare o meno il sequencer!
Boh! Proprio non capisco!

Beta 1 has several serious bugs and Beta 2 cycle has started. Beta 2 is not yet out and we have already RC1 candidates?
May be I miss something?

This RC1 candidate has been rejected, because meanwhile workaround for has been found.
So, we have two other ISOs, containing the applied patch, in testing right now:

Concordo.
Provata la 32bit in vbox e in live mode.
Lo stato di salute generale è molto buono.
Piccole issue comunque facilmente aggirabili o sopportabili.
Crisb ha fatto un ottimo lavoro in questi giorni.

installata e live, sempre in vbox.
per le segnalazioni basta fare riferimento all'ultima ufficiale, che è la beta, completamente aggiornata.
e non c'è bisogno di far parte del QA
io ne ho segnalati più di 100, senza far parte del QA e sono ancora vivo

Io ho provato ad avviare la live da usb e mi sono ritrovato gli stessi sberleffi della Beta 2 candidate che avevo segnalato qui viewtopic.php?p=23164#p23164

in vb, per provare la live, devi solo creare una vm con un po' di ram(almeno 1,5gb) ed invece di dare installa. dai start in live mode.
per gli errori da chiavetta non so aiutarti. mi sto occupando di tutto tranne che di quello.
so però che qualcuno è riuscito anche col classico "dd"
